About Us:Erika Pena Boutique, a leading fashion retail business, is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Head of Fashion Design to Join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, Possess at least 3 years of experience. The Head of Fashion Design will play a pivotal role in defining the creative direction and aesthetic of our brand. This individual will be responsible for leading the design process from conception through to final production, ensuring that each collection aligns with our brand's values, market trends, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of artistic talent, leadership skills, and a passion for fashion that pushes boundaries while respecting our heritage.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the creative vision for all fashion lines, ensuring consistency with the brand's identity and market positioning.
• Lead and inspire the design team in the creation of innovative, trend-setting collections.
• Oversee the entire design process, from initial concept and sketching to prototype development and final production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate closely with the product development, marketing, and sales teams to align design concepts with commercial objectives.
• Conduct in-depth market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions and keep the brand at the forefront of fashion.
• Manage relationships with fabric suppliers, manufacturers, and other external partners to ensure the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship.
• Regularly review and assess the performance of the design team, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Represent the brand at fashion shows, trade events, and in the media, serving as a key ambassador for our design philosophy and aesthetic.
• Lead, manage, and supervise a team, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure targets are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential. Enabling effective communication
• Minimum  1 years in a leadership role managing a design team.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of designs and a deep understanding of garment construction, fabric selection, and color theory.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and drive a creative team towards excellence.
• Proficient in fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments and with external partners.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• A deep passion for fashion, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to innovation and sustainability.
