JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage and maintain landscape nursery including watering, fertilizing, weeding, and pruning
- Managing landscape nursery and a small team of workers/part-timers
- Providing advise on matters related to budgeting and planning of nursery growth will be an advantage
- Responsible for the procurement of new plants and nursery maintenance, including the following tasks:
i) Sourcing of vendors for supply of plants and relevant tools required for landscaping works
ii) Comparison and negotiation of price for supplies;
iii) Handling and monitoring of expenditure to ensure that expenses are kept within budget;
iv) Handling or supervise landscape workers and vendors' delivery of work at nursery;
v) Provides monthly update/report for nursery inventories and expenses;
vi) Handling relevant administrative works for claims and procurement process.
- Responsible for maintenance of landscaping works of the properties, including liaising and supervising term contractors.
- Propagate and increase the number of landscape species and expand nursery coverage
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor/Diploma of Landscape Architecture or Horticulture Studies.
- Minimum 3 years experience as Landscape Staff or Horticulture Staff
- Good communication in English
