Uraian Tugas


Position Overview:

  • Responsible for managing complex personal injury litigation filed against FedEx companies, arising primarily from automobile and trucking accidents. Also, handle some general liability personal injury litigation. This involves working closely with and managing outside counsel, FedEx’s third-party administrator, in-house claims professionals, and actuarial partners.

Job Description Summary:
  • To ensure the conduct of legal matters and to provide legal counsel and advice to the company and its subsidiaries with special emphasis on department specific matters.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate Degree and admission to the bar.
  • Fifteen (15) years’ experience as an attorney with at least six (6) years’ experience in job specific area of law.
  • Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.

Skills/Knowledge and Experience Considered a Plus: 
  • Strong understanding of personal injury law and litigation, as well as experience defending automobile accident cases.

Domicile / Work Location:
  • Due to the collaborative nature of the role, there is a strong desire to have the selected candidate located in Memphis, Tennessee. This location offers a hybrid work environment that supports in-person collaboration through onsite Team Days but allows team members flexibility to primarily work from home the rest of the time. 

Remote Work Option:
  • Ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based upon business needs.

Relocation:
  • Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $11,546.54 - $23,091.92. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
