Job Description:
- Planning, organizing and controlling warehousing activities.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of workers.
- Manpower planning and deployment to ensure smooth warehouse activities.
- Create procedures such as Standard of Operations to meet objectives.
- Oversee documents recording and data entry into system.
- To investigate and solve customer’s complaints or non-conformities.
- Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
- Support organizing and participate in stock takes at regular intervals.
- Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for Where possible.
- Produce regular reports and statistics as and when required.
- Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose
· Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse.
- Ensure staff comply to health, safely and environmental regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse environment.
- Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
- A good working knowledge of health and safety and security requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma in Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management and or above.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
- Possess managerial experience in warehousing.
