Lead Warehouse

Job Description:

• Planning, organizing and controlling warehousing activities.
• Supervise and monitor the performance of workers.
• Manpower planning and deployment to ensure smooth warehouse activities.
• Create procedures such as Standard of Operations to meet objectives.
• Oversee documents recording and data entry into system.
• To investigate and solve customer’s complaints or non-conformities.
• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets. 
• Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
• Support organizing and participate in stock takes at regular intervals. 
• Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for Where possible. 
• Produce regular reports and statistics as and when required. 
• Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose 

·    Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse.

• Ensure staff comply to health, safely and environmental regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse environment. 
• Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as needed.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality 
• A good working knowledge of health and safety and security requirements 

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management and or above.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Possess managerial experience in warehousing.
