About us

MDA is a homeschool in Bali that has recently come under new management from the Head teacher from the Australian school Bali. -It is a school of around 50 students Y7-12 and is an informal education venue that uses the restorative approach in its behaviour management as well as teaching the Cambridge curriculum. Our Mission and Vision is; Our mission is to create an inclusive and compassionate learning space that inspires students to grow in excellence, both academically and personally and to empower every student to develop perseverance and passion in learning, enabling them to discover their full potential.

Qualifications & experience

• Teaching experience or special needs experience is valued
• An interest in psychology around child behavior.
• Patience and someone who has a cool head is needed, someone who can be creative in finding solutions with a student

Tasks & responsibilities

• As a Learning Support Assistant for a Year 8 student with focus challenges, daily tasks involve one-on-one support, breaking down assignments, and promoting time management skills.
• The assistant employs adaptable teaching methods, collaborates with teachers.
• Taking the student out of the class to work with on; Math/English/Business/Science to help increase focus
• Overseeing students work in class, and sitting with the student to aid his focus
