Legal Compliance Manager

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Legal and Compliance Manager to join our dynamic peer-to-peer (P2P) company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and fostering a culture of ethical conduct. The Legal and Compliance Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish and maintain a robust legal and compliance framework.

Job Descriptions

• Plan and implement the Legal Compliance program for the company.
• Checking and reviewing drafts/documents of agreements and/or contracts to ensure that the documents concerned are in accordance with the applicable laws.
• Review and update the standards of conduct in the organization;
• Conducting legal research capable of providing data to prepare legal opinions for the company's needs.
• Have sharp analytical skills regarding the company's condition in dealing with legal issues.
• Coordinate with other departments to identify compliance issues and direct them to appropriate departments for further investigation;
• Provide training to employees regarding the company's compliance program.
• Assisting the company's operational team in terms of Legal Compliance with external parties.
• Participate actively in related associations supporting the organization's business (AFTECH, AFPI, APPARINDO).

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Degree in Law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Legal Compliance preferably in a company engaged in the financial services and/or e-wallet industry.
• Having knowledge related to state and local business regulations.
• Having the ability to think analytically and business knowledge.
• Having good communication skills in providing legal opinions/views, reviewing the suitability of agreement/contract documents.
• Having knowledge of OJK/BI regulation and reporting to OJK/BI systems.
