Legal Manager

• License management – in charge to ensure all licenses required for the operation of the domestic companies (in particular but not limited to business licenses, for production, tobacco handling trading, customs, environmental/health and safety) are fulfilled and licenses are renewed in time, including monitoring of any regulatory changes and changes in the operations with impact on licenses;
• Management of relationship and contact with local authorities with regards to all licenses and regulatory requirements
• Contract drafting, contract preparation and contract review as well as monitoring compliance withexisting contracts, including ensuring contracts are timely extended or amended - contract administration
• Ensuring "corporate housekeeping" (company secretarial work)
• Comprehensive solution-oriented legal advice and support of the GM, the Group General Counseland the domestic group companies in all mattersof commercial, corporate and contract law (incl. laborlaw in cooperation with Headof HR)
• Identification and assessment of legal risksand options for action, incl.compliance with legalprovisions and reporting obligations (Compliance andRisk)
• Acting as Business Unit Compliance Responsible for all Indonesian entities under Burger Groups Compliance Program (under the leadership of Group General Counsel), in particular – but not limited to – in the areas of i) supplier due diligence; ii) data protection; iii) code of conduct, including training of employees and reporting as well as participation in reporting line cases
• Assisting in any specific visa application requirements and processes with regards to members of the Group travelling to Indonesia
• Analysis and assessment of transactions and business relationships, identification and proactive prevention of legal risks, including monitoring of new laws and jurisprudence thatmay affect the Indonesian companies and the Group and its businesses
• Managing judicial litigation and leading, instructing, assisting and evaluating and cooperating with external lawyers
• Managing for legal identity, companies such as NIB (Business Registration Number) Articles of Association, andother company legaldocumentation
• Draft legal memoranda, internal notes and fulfil otherdocumentation requirements as required by the GM or Group management.

• Very strong knowledge of commercial and general contract law.
• Very strong knowledge of business licenses application requirements and processes
• Experience in industries with production sites is an advantage
• Clear and concise oraland written expression
• Strong analytical skillsand an ability to see the big picture
• Experience with working with and within international organisations
• Experience with bondedzone operations
• Strong argumentation skillon written and verbal
• Have a goodrelation with government agency and authority is an advantage

Professional Experience

At least 4-6 years of professional experience in an internationally active commercial law firm or larger internationally activecompany

Being license member of PERADI (Indonesian Advocate Association) is an advantage
