Machine setter – Injection Moulding

Tasks and responsibilities 

To work on behalf of PT TDK ELECTRONICS INDONESIA, machine setting activities of SYSTEMS production lines in P2 plant,Batam,on the Injection Moulding processes.

The activities covers:

• Install moulds onto machines with parting agent, according to work instructions and eng facility sheet specifications

• Positions, aligns, and secures assembled mould, mould components, and machine accessories onto machine press bed, and attaches connecting lines

• Mixes thermoplastic materials, and coloring pigments according to formula, using paddle and mixing machine as per work instruction / material data sheet.

• Create machine programs and to adjust it until an optimized product / process quality is achieved and maintained.

• Observes and adjusts machine set up and operations to eliminate production of defective parts and products

• Make initial batch release at moulding process based on product drawings, engineering facility sheet and work instructions.

• Repairs and maintains machines and auxiliary equipment ( minor repairs only), using hand tools and power tools.(Major maintenance will be handled by technicians under the maintenance department)

• Transfer moulds from production to tool room and vice versa.
