Job Description

• In this position, the individual will be responsible for the entire Test Engineering equipment build process.
  

Meet with internal customers (HW, Test and Product Engineers) to determine configurations, need dates and other requirements. Plan, schedule and build PC-based tester and PCB assembly builds via work orders. Order and receive components, provide kits for internal or subcontracted assembly. Ensure kit accuracy and fill shortages in a timely manner. Keep internal customers updated on delivery dates. Maintain records of completed builds and on-time delivery performance.
Be the focal point for engineering parts and services procurement requests. Enter and monitor all purchase requisitions in Oracle. Interface with Purchasing and the suppliers for quotes and order and delivery status. Push suppliers for expedites when necessary.
Support processing of daily inventory receipts and fill engineering and spare part requests. Enter all transactions in QAD to keep inventory information current. Maintain the inventory room in an organized and space efficient manner. Perform regular cycle counts to monitor inventory accuracy.
Create and maintain test engineering part numbers and BOM's in Agile. Add primary test equipment assemblies so they can be built via work orders.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience.
• Basic electronics knowledge on passive components
• Must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment
• Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people
• A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
