Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a MIPA (Mathematics and Natural Science) Teacher for Primary School located in Denpasar. The MIPA teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans that focus on building fundamental knowledge of Mathematics and Natural Science in children. The teacher will evaluate student progress and provide feedback to enhance overall learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a relevant field
• Teaching qualification with relevant certification
• Experience teaching Mathematics to children at the Primary School level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional methods
• Passionate about teaching, and committed to student learning and development
• Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based methods is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the classroom for lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help with math concepts.
• Supervise and maintain discipline in the classroom during the teacher's absence.
• Prepare and distribute teaching materials, handouts, and assignments.
• Keep records of students progress and share this information with the lead teacher.
• Maintain an organized and conducive learning environment.
• Assist in managing student behaviour and classroom discipline, ensuring a respectful and focused atmosphere for learning.
• Work with students who have special needs, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet their requirements.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher in communicating with parents regarding student progress and any concerns related to math education.
