- Measure the dimensions of rotating parts/components in accordance with applicable work procedures by considering the critical points for measuring rotating parts/components and recording the measurement results on the form provided.
- Carry out centering, leveling, alignment, clearance, run out, endplay and endfloating checks on rotating components referring to the acceptance criteria that have been determined.
- Record each inspection process in the form provided and document the test results so that they can be compiled into a report on the results of the overall inspection (final inspection report).
- Prepare a summary inspection report along with recommendations for improvements as a proposal to the inspection supervisor and engineering manager.
- Provide suggestions to the inspection supervisor regarding the status of the workpiece (Ready to Ship, Ready to Assy, Rework, Reject) after the inspection is carried out based on the data that has been taken.
- Check the part list received with the mechanic and fill it in on the Part Check List form.
- Mark new manufactured parts with Taka serial numbers according to the Log book.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least Vocational School or Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience as Mechanical Inspector.
- Strong knowledge and skill of dimensional inspection for turbomachinery equipment.
- Good communication.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Adaptable/flexible, stress resistant, and team player.
