Job Description:
- Execute the “Approve Work” and “Execute Work” elements of the asset.
- Comply with quality specifications, and authority levels set out in the business process documentation.
- Execute work using appropriate decision-making criteria and methods to ensure right job, right time, right way.
- Provide input (identify critical issues, synergies, conflicts) to the longer term schedule.
- Provide input to planning, as appropriate, for resource procurement and execution prior to the Required by Date (RBD).
- Apply resources for executing urgent and scheduled work.
- Review the Work Order Task Status Report daily to track work to be closed to obtain info on the upcoming workload.
- Assign tasks, ensuring crew members fully understand the contents of the planning packages.
- Hold subordinates to account for accurate data collection and timely reporting as specified.
- Call to account their subordinates, with respect to maintaining an in-control process for their area of responsibility.
Key requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience as Mechanical Supervisor.
- Having experience in handling fixed plants such as: Ball Mill, Flotation, crusher, ceramic filter, boiler, roaster, ESP, cooling tower, etc.a
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
