Resources : Commodity procurement and supply business mainly feature plastic chemicals, metal minerals, agricultural products, forest products and mechanical and electrical products, such as five general resins, EVA, fish meal, whey powder, palm oil, latex, steel, non-ferrous metals, automobiles, etc.
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement strategy and operations. The successful candidate will act as the key interface for outside vendors and suppliers, ensuring the integrity of our purchasing processes and the quality of goods received.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust network and excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and suppliers, representing the company's interests.
- Verify the accuracy, condition, and compliance of incoming goods with purchase orders.
- Identify and implement cost-effective purchasing solutions to optimize spending and efficiency.
- Source materials, goods, products, and services, negotiating favorable contracts and deals to benefit the company.
- Conduct thorough reviews of all purchase and rental contracts to ensure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with the Finance, Accounting, and Tax Departments to coordinate payment arrangements and ensure financial compliance.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in a purchasing management role.
- Fluent in Indonesian and English; proficiency in Mandarin is essential.
- Extensive network within the industry, with a proven track record of successful vendor and supplier negotiations.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
