Job Description
Summary:Completes the hotel’s daily audit process according to company operating policies, procedures, and standards. This process includes, but is not limited to, completing and transmitting the Daily Report that includes total revenue, cash, credit, receivables, and room statistics. The Night Auditor covers the hotel’s Front Desk overnight, ensuring that hotel guests receive hospitable and responsive service at check-in, during the stay, and upon departure.

Responsibilities
- Provides excellent guest service to all guests
- Ensures all internal and external guests are satisfied
- Arrives in a timely manner for his/her shift.
- Anticipates and intervenes in all incidents of guest dissatisfaction and attempts to satisfy all such guests within hotel policy or with managerial help
- Maintains presence at desk during all hours of operation and communicates effectively with individuals inside and outside the facility
- Complies with uniform, identification, dress and grooming standards
- Ensures front desk, office (including files), and lobby are maintained in a clean and organized manner
- Ensures collections, including credit card and direct bill, are executed in accordance withcompany policies
- Reviews daily arrivals and prepares welcome letters, amenities, VIP Alerts
- Maintains a detailed knowledge about hotel services, hours of operations, and local areas
- Checks guests in and out. Prepares guest bills and authorizes payments
- Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check in
- Own the guest experience, from pre-arrival to post check-out
