The Job
You will be responsible for :
- Creating predictive and prescriptive models that could have a positive impact on the business.
- Driving all data analytics activities ranging from conceptualisation, visualisation to operationalisation.
- Performing statistical analysis on historical data to validate models.
- Working across stakeholders to identify and capitalise on opportunities to leverage data to drive business solutions.
- Handling data entry tasks and collating and updating information in to the system.
- Assisting in filing and scanning of documents.
- Providing ad hoc administrative support to the team as required.
The Profile
- You possess an advanced degree, ideally a PHD, in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
- You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Data Entry or Data Scientist role.
- Ability to write and execute complex queries in SQL.
- You have good computer skills ( MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- You are organised and have good interpersonal skills.
- You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
