The Pilot Plant Operator is responsible for carry out production operational activities on the pilot production lines. This function will be reporting to the Process Engineer and / or Pilot Plant Manager and will be based at dsm-firmenich Karawang Plant.
Key Responsibilities :
Operates process and utility equipment in a hygienic and safe manner in accordance with all process procedures, cGMP, HAACP and SHE instructions and guidelines.
Acts in such a way that safety awareness and accident prevention are considered in the performance of all tasks.
- Sets up, calibrates and monitors instruments, i.e. pH meter, temperature meter, conductivity meter, hyrdometer, thermometers, and metal detection devices.
- Tears down, cleans and re-assembles equipment, i.e. pumps, mills, grinders, valves, etc. Clean utensils, vessels and lines.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and responds to deviations in process, product, equipment, and performance variations.
- Identifies and takes appropriate action for variations in raw materials, foreign debris, color changes, smell, moisture and temperature variations.
- Verify correct items have been picked before adding to the mixing tank and weigh materials for each batch.
- Ensure materials are mixed accurately per batch instructions.
- Transfer liquids as needed from vessel to vessel and run the Dryer as directed on each batch sheet.
- Accurately and completely fill out paperwork as needed.

You bring :
- Polytechnic or University with major in Food Technology / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Fresh Graduate or 1-3 years related experience in a manufacturing.
- Positive work attitude, structured.
- Must be thorough, attentive to details, and well organized.
- Able to multitask and complete multiple requests on time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Develop analytical skills with problem solving ability.
- Ability to adapt well to a fast-paced environment.
