General Duties & Responsibilites :
- Understand the significance of collaborative relationships between the school and parents, and work to build a good school life.
- Actively support the vision, ethos, culture and policies of the School.
- Contribute to a school culture which is positive , purposeful and professional.
- Be commited to safeguarding and to promote the welfare of students.
- Participate in the selection and recruitment process.
- Work with teachers, parents and the other Division to ensure that children’s individual needs are planned for and met.
- Represent the school director in attending an agenda or meeting invitations as instructed by the director.
- Establish good communication relationships with stakeholders and parents by priorities excellent customer service and providing solutions
- Establish good communication relationships with all existing teams, and ensure that all information or policies conveyed by the director can be well received by all existing internal parties.
- Create administrative forms or sheets required by the school in accordance with the standards that have been provided or expected.
- Providing professional services in helping schedule the school director's agenda, meeting schedules, and providing all meeting reports held by the director
- Preparing and monitoring budget
- Planning, maintaining, building and deploying resources
- Taking responsibility for textbooks and stationery requirements
- Encouraging and fostering positive relationships with staff, students and parents
- Being proactive in conflict resolution.
- Providing leadership and support in the area of student/teacher interaction
- Participating in appraisal processes
- Delegating tasks as necessary and/or appropriate
- Develops and evaluates the performance of staff.
- Provides feedback on performance and arranges for remedial assistance.
- Provides work assignments to staff and directs their activities.
- Mobilizes the appropriate staff in creating an appropriate instructional and learning environment.
- Works with faculty and staff to identify staff development needs, then, plans, organizes and facilitates programs to
- Initiates self development.
- Coordinates with other school programs.
- Develops policies and procedures to facilitate the delivery of programs, student discipline, and parent and public
- relations.
- Utilises community organizations in response to family needs
- Establish the annual master schedule for instructional programs, ensuring sequential learning experiences for students consistent with the school’s philosophy, mission statement and instructional goals.
- Supervise the instructional programs of the school, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes on a regular basis to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child development.
- Establish procedures for evaluation and selection of instructional materials and equipment, approving all recommendations.
