POSITION SUMMARYThe Printing Press Operator operates assigned Printing press to produce printed product on a variety of materials using various colors as prescribed by job tickets or work orders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produces printed sheets per production order.
• Performs quality checks and maintains required paperwork.
• Directs press assistant to achieve production schedule.
• Operates assigned equipment safely in accordance with company and OSHA safety programs and rules.
• Performs work in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
• Monitors Quality Points at work station and records required data.
• Reports quality and production concerns and issues to supervisor.
• Cross trains on all work stations within department.
• Conducts preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Additional duties as assigned.
