Location: Mengeš #LI-Hybrid
Join our new biotech production unit VIFA One at Novartis in Mengeš. We have built a state-of-the-art VIFA One facility, equipped with a new robotic isolator filling line for the production of viral vectors and the filling of finished products. Are you ready to be at the forefront of digital innovation in healthcare? We are looking for a Process Expert I (m/f/d) to join our vibrant and experienced team. We are a data-driven unit backed by science, computer process modelling and PAT (process analytics technology). As a Process Expert I in USP (bioprocess), DSP (isolation) and finished products, you will support our manufacturing operations, solving the challenges of day-to-day work, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and standards, and ensuring that our high-quality products reach patients around the world.
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide expert support to processes and production, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Acting as an Expert In specific technologies, products or technical processes, you foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Ensuring that all manufacturing processes are carried out on time, according to documentation and in accordance with GMP.
- Control and optimise processes and technologies in USP, DSP and finished products.
- Managing operations through understanding of processes and process equipment.
- Process monitoring: accurate monitoring of processes, identification of trends and timely action in case of negative trends.

Role Requirements
• BSc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent scientific degree. Desirable MSc. or equivalent experience.
