About the role
Location: Mengeš #LI-Hybrid
As a Process Expert II (f/m/d) you will be responsible for the control and optimisation of biopharmaceutical production processes and the management of process technologies and products in accordance with production plans, discipline, internal regulations, best practices and legislation.
As our Process Expert, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative manufacturing processes to optimize our upstream processes. You will work with the latest bioreactor technology and use your knowledge of cell culture and process automation to design and implement process experiments that will improve efficiency and quality.
Your key responsibilities:
• Control and optimization of production processes, process technologies and products in the USP department (work with bioreactors, implementation of aseptic techniques, cooperation in automation and optimization of bioreactors, knowledge of USP analytics).
• Responsibility for achieving the required quality and production volumes.
• Ensuring the compliance of existing products and technological processes and creating technological documentation.
• Cooperation in selections, transfers and commissioning of equipment.
• Participation in assessments, validations and in resolving more demanding resignations at the USP department.
• Lead or provide operational support to teams during technology / product transfers in production.
• Monitor processes (for example: cell culture growth and productivity), identify possible trends and ensure timely interventions in the event of observed negative trends.
• Act as point of contact for platform, support global initiatives as assigned, represent site at global if applicable.

What you will bring to the role:
• BSc. in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent scientific degree. Desirable MSc. or equivalent experience.
• Active knowledge of English and local language.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools.
We offer temporary employment for one year with 6 months of probation period.
