Qualifications & experience
- Minimum bachelor degree with min. GPA 3.30, preferably in Education Management or related major;
- Having minimum 3 years of working experiences in coordinator level;
- Fluent verbal and non-verbal English communication skills;
- Familiarity with the publishing industry, including knowledge of book production processes, editing, proofreading, and copyright laws is essential;
- Being detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in editing, proofreading, and maintaining consistency in book content;
- Good capacity in strategic thinking while keep focus on project goals and outcomes;
- Having experiences as trainer for adults; preferably having experiences in Book Publishing or book development;
- Able to learn quickly, good initiative, well-organized, and able to identify problems and propose practical solutions;
- Demonstrated technical skills in project, budget and resources management;
- Demonstrated skills in communication, teamwork and developing networks with education stakeholders;
Tasks & responsibilities
- Building relationships with book publishers, writers, illustrators, governments, and organizations to encourage project sustainability and possible cooperation for expanding features of Book Publishing models.
- Working with publishers in the publishers’ selection process, coordinating their work to ensure the responsibilities and goals in the project are achieved.
- Facilitating communication between publishers and ProVisi/Room to Read regarding international licensing agreements.
- Facilitating regular meetings between publishers and ProVisi/Room to Read to discuss title concepts, content, and timelines, and managing translation and feedback collection and revision cycles.
- Coordinating logistics for project workshops and book printing, and uploading project-developed titles to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (MoECRT) online catalog
- Working with MoECRT to receive approval to place 100% of Room to Read storybooks developed in Indonesia on the online catalog
- Reporting the implementation budget activities and expenses monthly to the Program Manager.
- Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing project implementation information, and submitting narrative reports to the Program Manager every three (3) months.
- Leading the negotiation with and identification of project contractors, following the procurement process.
