Project Director

Project Director is responsible for driving and executing the construction of buildings and infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Direct all site activities of site staff, contractors and suppliers, etc., and manage the communication between different groups to ensure timely response to project requirements.
• Draw up corrective measures when the building works are off schedule.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety measures.
• Manage and deliver projects within project timeline and budget, as well as the framework of risk and environmental considerations.
• Manage budgets of construction projects.
• Manage work delivery and resources based on the resource allocation and project schedules.
• Review construction progress and address the needs of the stakeholders at various stages of the project.
• Work with design teams to review design solutions and ensure they meet project budget and timeline.

Other Responsibilities

• Monitoring build progress, overseeing finance and ensuring project quality
• Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions
• Meeting with clients, stakeholders and project managers to report on project progress
• Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
• Devising cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
• Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
• Ensuring permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project
• Managing project managers and enabling them to supervise and manage their own teams
• Working in an office and on a construction site.

General Requirements

• Bachelor or Master' Degree from Civil Engineering/ Architecture.
• Minimum have 15 year's of working experience in the project management/ Construction field.
• Experience in managing project management cycle from end-to-end.
• Fluent in English.
• Willing to work during weekends.
• Strong leadership.
