Project Manager

• Our machines have been effectively delivered to Europe, North America, South America, and Southeast Asia. In 2017, we expanded our presence with a new facility in Penang, Malaysia, aimed at enhancing our ability to serve overseas customers.

Role Description

• Involve in new FRQ activities and quotation preparation
• Develop and maintain project timeline and ensuring project is on schedule
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans. Manage changes and adapt project plans as necessary
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications. Regularly communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear direction.
• Develop and monitor the project budget. Manage project costs to stay within budget constraints
• Ensure that all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Document project phases and create summary reports for internal teams & external customers and project update is required by project phases in daily/weekly/monthly basis
• To review customers specification and determine the processes from customers documents
• To manage the project team after project kick-off
• To participate in DFM review, co-work with R&D team to provide technical and engineering solution to customers
• To liaise with customer for clarification and obtain further information to move forward.
• Good understanding on customer's requirement, conceptual and objective to provide total solution of design work is compliance to SEMI, environmental, mechanical specifications and safety regulatory.
• Candidate must be able to work independently, self-motivated, required to have positive attitude, self-starter, good team work with internal team and external customers on co-development projects.
• Ensure customers satisfaction and willing to take new challenges

Job Requirement

• Knowledge in Solid works, AutoCAD and drafting software will be added advantage
• Fluent on both English and Mandarin.
• Must process own transport and flexible to travel within Malaysia & Oversea.
• Flexibility and comfort working in a quickly changing environment.
• Good team work spirit
• Leadership with ability to lead, inspire and manage project teams
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and good prioritization skills
• Experience in delivering client-focused solution based on customer needs preferably from mechanical engineering solution environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering/Mechanical/Automation related field.
• Min 3-5 years of experience in project execution in Automation field
• Mature, self-motivated, proactive and independent
• Need to be well verse in Chinese to communicate with China teams
