Roles of PYP School Counselor
- Foundation: The Guidance Curriculum : Teach the counselling program effectively
- Delivery: Individual Education Planning: In collaboration with teachers and parents, help students establish goals and develop and use planning skills
- Responsive Services: Counsel individual students and small groups of students on an ‘as needs’ basis and implement an effective referral process within the framework of the Inclusion Support Team
- Accountability: Provide a comprehensive and balanced guidance program consistent with identified student needs and in collaboration with school staff
- Professional communication and interaction: Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations with students
- Professional Responsibilities: Demonstrate a commitment to on-going professional growth; possess professional and responsible work habits; follow the profession’s ethical and legal standards and guidelines
Job Expectations :
- All applicants must hold an S2 (Master) qualification from Psychology Dept.
- Excellent English skills.
- Minimum has three years of working experience in related field
