Qc E&I (Electrical And Instrument)

Job Description:

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures for Electrical and Instrumentation systems and COMPANY QMS in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 is followed.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Prepare and submit daily QC activities/findings submit reports and maintain records. Making recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to coordinate integrated quality control processes.
• Verify the functionality and performance of control systems, sensors, and other related equipment
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
• Ensure that the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements are implemented by the Contractor on site and the particular hold points required are coordinated with the Project Team
• Investigate and resolve Electrical and Instrumentation issues, ensuring minimal impact on production processes. Closely monitor site activities, issuing NCR’s in case of non-compliance. Review proposed Corrective and preventive actions. Follow up for proper closure.
• Ensure that all Electrical and Instrumentation work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct Quality Inductions on all new contractors.
• Monitor Application for Inspections (AFI) raised by contractor for inspection outcome and close out with proper reporting.
• Participate in Quality or technical compliance audits for Contractor, Sub Contractor or Vendors. Participate in safety audits and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Plan and execute testing and commissioning activities for Electrical and Instrumentation systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning within the pulp and paper industry.
• Familiarity with Electrical and Instrumentation systems used in pulp manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in reading Electrical and Instrumentation drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC) applicable to the pulp industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues promptly.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Electrical and Instrumentation problems efficiently.
• Relevant certifications in quality control, electrical, or instrumentation (optional but beneficial).
• Fluent in English (able to speak Mandarin is an advantage)
• Willing to be placement in Tarakan (no roster system)
