Responsibilties :
1. Quality Control Inspections:
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished ice cream products.
- Ensure compliance with quality specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
2. Sampling and Testing:
- Collect samples for testing and analysis.
- Perform sensory evaluations and laboratory tests to assess product quality and consistency.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities.
- Generate reports summarizing inspection results and highlighting areas for improvement.
4. Collaboration with Production Teams:
- Work closely with production teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Provide feedback and guidance to enhance production processes and product quality.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in quality control procedures.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance overall product quality.
6. Compliance with Food Safety Standards:
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Participate in audits to demonstrate compliance with quality and safety requirements.
7. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials.
Requirements :
- Diploma, Bachelor or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality control is a plus.
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or a similar role in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and equipment.
