You will perform daily in process inspection activities to support production, ensure material and inspection process comply to specified requirements. Generate report and COC as part of manufacturing databook
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Routing Package review (Spec, Drawing, Picklist, Document Revision)
- Providing dimensional, COC, inspection report and traceability record in MO package. Verifying gages and tool calibration
- Involving in Hardness testing, Verify, validate report from Vendor (HT) and Phospating visual Inspection
- Performing dimensional inspection as per work order and witness hydro test and validate report
- Creating GRR, Identification and appropriate labelling of non-conforming product to prevent its unintended use
- Participating in EHS/HSE program and proactively involve in improving EHS/HSE Culture in Batam Site. Involve in EHS/HSE Framework 2.0 program
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Diploma or technical high school with 3 years’ experience in quality inspection and measurement of component parts.
- Display a good ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Be familiar with tool and gauge for measurement and ability to perform detailed dimensional inspection of component parts.
- Have awareness of API 6A & 17D codes specification and understand API 6A codes and requirement for calibration
- Have knowledge for phosphate visual inspection and knowledge to do Hydro test parameter and report validation.
- Have knowledge of Quality Management Systems and the risks and hazards environment.
- Able to work shifts or irregular hours and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
