Refinery Development Master Plan Project is comprised of Revamp of existing units, the construction of a new license unit, and a non-licensed unit (for ISBL) as well as new offsite and utilities (Os&Us) in Pertamina RU V Balikpapan located in Balikpapan East Kalimatan. The Project focuses on the need to modernize the refining configuration and capabilities to produce more gasoline and other products by converting the residue of fuel oil into more valuable products, primarily gasoline and diesel. Integrated performance management, as part of the ICSS, will be implemented to improve the quality of service and production reliability of the refinery.

Electrical Engineer/Supervisor

Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Electrical LV/MV/HV Pre-commissioning, Site acceptance tests, Commissioning, Start-up, and Maintenance.
• Conduct comprehensive point-to-point line checks of cable schedules, interconnection diagrams, one-line diagrams, and vendor documents.
• Proficiency in vendor-specific software such as ABB and Schneider.
• Familiarity with tools including Omicron CPC-100 (Primary injector for Transformer, CT, and VT tests), Omicron CMC-356 (Secondary injector for Relay Protection and Metering simulation tests), and Megger MRCT (CT/VT tests).

• Proficient in Substation Equipment:
• Expertise in energizing, troubleshooting, LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), and preservation for GTG, STG, EDG, UPS, TR, SWGR(S/B), Bus-duct, MV & LV MCC, VSD, ECMS, and Motors.

• Conduct MV & LV Motor Solo-run tests / Motor run tests.

• Documentation Management:
• Prepare comprehensive test checklists and generate reports, tracking progress using Microsoft Excel.

• Training:
• Undertake training in GTG, STG, EDG, UPS, TR, SWGR(S/B), MV & LV MCC, VSD, ECMS, and Motors.
• Receive training in Protection MV & LV SWGR Protection Relay, Protection MV & LV Protection Feeder Module, and other relevant areas.

• Demonstrate commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment standards.

• Proficiency in Computer Skills:
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant programs.

Requirements:

1. Supervise subcontractors directly on-site, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
2. Possess a Bachelor's or Diploma Degree in Electrical Engineering.
3. Requires at least 10 years of experience in electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning work.
4. Possession of local or international certification in electrical engineering is advantageous.
5. Fluency in written and spoken English.
6. Preferred domicile in the Balikpapan region.
