Scope of Role 

This role will support the Head of JobStreet Express to cultivate a culture of fast and sustainable growth through leading of sales and business operations teams as well as to implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence via agile processes, technology tools and a data-driven attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow the Business - Responsible to lead JobStreet Express business and sales operations in East Java & Bali Nusra region
  • Driving hyper local strategy, business development and collaborating initiatives with external and internal collaborators
  • You will be given specific resources (people or team, budget) and are accountable to achieve targets for the top line of the business (e.g. revenue, ad scale, hirer scale, candidate scale)
  • Responsible for maintaining the business on a trajectory of balanced expansion. 
  • Accountable to understand the market and competition dynamics, agile in facing the competitive landscape and driving a viable business
  • Responsible for identifying, comprehending, and synthesizing internal and industry data (provided by the analytics team), creating hypotheses of trends, and assessing business risk
  • Have interests in carrying out field activities (including third-party partner engagement, event organisation, networking, community engagement, business development)
  • Sales, Operations and People Management – Accountable to handle large internal and external sales and operations teams (e.g. door-to-door, customer success representatives)
  • Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvements
  • Tasked with pinpointing deficiencies opportunities through performance monitoring, and lead to actionable plans for value creation, performance uplift and operation efficiency improvement
  • Responsible to lead both conceptual and practical problem-solving initiatives, making data-driven decisions with the agility to shift directions as quickly as needed
  • Responsible to ensure the delivery of end-to-end process, from planning to execution and organisational change
  • Responsible to accept complicated assignments, helping leaders make tough decisions, partnering and overcoming obstacles to deliver results

Skills, Experience and Competencies 

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, other majors are welcomed
  • Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in leading sales and business operations with consistent record in driving accelerated growth
  • Experience and consistent record in business development
  • Experience in tech companies or management consulting in Indonesia is helpful
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to identify gaps and perform root cause analysis, as well as provide recommendations
  • Independent, have strong communication skills, attention to details and eagerness to learn; Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Prior experience in working with an international team for a cross-functional project
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, as well as Bahasa Indonesia
  • Willing to be based in Surabaya
