Job Description As a Store Manager or Area Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of the retail stores. You will be responsible for leading a team, managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and achieving sales and financial targets.
Other responsibilities include:
- Maximising the sales of each store, and ensuring that general and daily operations of his stores are conducted according to the company's rules and regulations.
- Ensuring the lowest possible costs and highest productivity for all operations and procedures.
- Working and collaborating with all other departments in order to achieve the company's goals.
- Implementing and maintaining store policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Monitoring inventory levels, product availability and visual merchandising standards and ensuring the stores are clean, and compliant with safety and health regulations.
- Developing and executing strategies to achieve sales targets and maximise profitability.
- Analysing data, customer trends and market insights to make informed business decisions.
- Managing a few stores and ensuring all stores are profitable.
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries and providing reports to higher management on sales performance and inventory status.
Requirements:
- University graduate major in a reputable university.
- At least 6 years of working experience in a sales-related or stores-operation related role, ideally from retail background.
- Or, if you have worked in start-up environment, you are also welcomed to apply.
- Good leadership skill, be a team player and is able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Complete fluency in both English, spoken and written as well as strong business acumen, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritise, meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure.
