We are expanding our team at Island Traders (Based in Nusa Lembongan. Accomodation will be provided) & looking for a fulltime ‘Retail Shop Assistant’. We would love to hire someone with this qualification:
- Opening and closing the store in a timely manner.
- Completing open/close duties and tasks as outlined by the store manager.
- Greeting every customer.
- Happy, positive, can-do attitude at all times.
- Wearing assigned uniform or otherwise approved clothes that are inline with the Island Traders brand.
- Assisting customers in finding the products or sizes they are looking for.
- Answering customer questions about the products, brands and other requests.
- Keeping up-to-date with brand and product knowledge.
- Collaborating with other team members to keep the shop floor & shelves area clean and organised.
- Assisting the other team members with additional tasks on an adhoc basis, as requested.
- Receiving, unpacking and arranging new products and packages from suppliers/brands.
- Arranging and labeling products in the assigned display shelves.
- Processing customer payments at the checkout point/till.
- Addressing customer complaints, concerns and questions.
- Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers.
- Cleaning and rearranging the store outside opening hours.
- Performing periodic price audits and stocktake with the team to resolve price discrepancies.
- Reporting on daily sales at the end of every shift.
- Assisting at events when needed.
To be a part of our growing brand a minimum 1 years experience is preferred (but not required as training will be provided) & good written / spoken English is a MUST.
