Job Description

Facilitating timely and accurate insights for the Senior Management and Risk Management team for informed decision making.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop automation, and ensure the availability of Key Risk Metrics and performance triggers monitoring such as Credit Loss Metrics, Fraud Loss Metrics, Revenue Metrics, Provisioning, and Score model performance monitoring.
• Determine the methodology of each Key risk and fraud metrics.
• Provide and facilitate value added Portfolio Quality Review (PQR) sessions with integrated reports.
• Assess new score models for timely and seamless integration into risk policy.
• Provide accurate Cost of Credit monitoring and develop projection for Budgeting and forecasting purposes.
• Ensure the right solution and direction to the team to support end-to-end risk management processes of acquisition, portfolio, collection strategy, and new score model deployment.
• Engage and establish a collaborative environment within the risk management chapter and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve the deliverables, dashboards, Risk Analytics processes, also soft and hard skills needed for each of the team members.

What You Will Need

• In depth knowledge of Credit and Fraud Risk Metrics, the methodology and the business impacts.
• Creativity for Complexity: numbers and visualization.
• Ability to translate numbers into meaningful insights
• Attention to extreme detail: to ensure the insights are accurate and timely
• Understanding of data infrastructure, database management
• People leadership and effective stakeholder management

Our Objective as Gojek’s Risk Team, especially as the Financial Services Platform Risk Team, is to ensure a safe and trusted platform that our users can trust, rely on, and love to come back to. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, our team manages the Credit, Fraud, and Operational Risk side of the lending business. The Head of Risk Analytics will supervise a team of four Risk Analysts and the team itself consists of multinational and multi-background individuals. We work together to manage, anticipate, and predict the operational loss event and issues, and ensure its association of the components to the risk and control assessment. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams to ensure safe and sustainable business growth and reliable financial services for our users, our Gojek businesses, and our extended ecosystem.
Our team is constantly working on projects that continuously bolster our risk management framework, maintain the highest standard of best practices, and improve the resilience of our Gojek financial services products. This is a particularly exciting time to join our family as we’re focused on scaling this team to support Gojek’s growing markets, businesses, and future product launches, propelling our services to all corners of the globe. The questions that are always in the back of our minds are: How do we push the envelope in fortifying our risk mitigation efforts, making them stronger than their last iterations, and how can we effectively increase risk awareness throughout all factions of our company?
When we aren’t busy fighting potential credit risks and fraud on our business as usual, you’d probably find us binge-watching Netflix shows, testing out new food spots around town (mostly ordering in to social distance), and chatting about our coming week on our weekly Zoom calls. Once COVID subsides, we’re excited to be able to meet and socialize over a meal again.
