If you're looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly analytical team who enjoys working with data, look no further. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst for the ODS Sales team, you will be building data products to help the Sales team achieve its business objectives. You will be working with the Business and Product teams on supporting analytics (predictive modeling, statistics/data driven analysis, data pipeline) and data products (data source fundamentals, automated dashboards, reports, alerts, and simulation tools) which will create business impact at scale. The cherry on top: you'll get to be a part of a team that works to help hundreds of thousands of merchant partners across SE Asia to grow their business!
What you will do:
- Provide a roadmap for complex data analytical problems and its technical decisions such as end-to-end analytics infrastructure development from raw data information insight prediction.
- Showcasing impact in a broader business context by providing detailed analysis and data visualization.
- Proactive in developing and maintaining tools/analysis (end to end), and improving business metrics to keep it relevant with company's growth.
- Partnering with Sales Teams, Business Teams and other Data teams to help create data driven decisions.
- Owning problem definition and defining them into analytical problems
- Understand stakeholder needs, prioritize, respond professionally, and follow up to ensure the objectives are achieved.
- Ensure multi-entities data hygiene through master data management activities.
What you will need:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or other related roles that require strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and business acumen (preferably from B2B industry or fast-growing startup tech). (Mandatory)
- Expert in advanced SQL and data visualization (e.g. Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Metabase). (Mandatory)
- Have strong statistical knowledge and be able to independently select and implement the correct statistical test to answer business questions. (Mandatory)
- Good R/Python skills to perform advanced analysis (hypothesis testing, predictive model, clustering, etc) (Preferable)
- Knowledge on master data management and data automation workflow. (Big Bonus)
- Comfortable working both independently with minimal guidance and in a team setting
- Ability to use critical thinking to manage daily tasks while being goal-oriented
- Ability to transform an ambiguous business or product problem into a well-scoped and impactful analysis
