Who Are You?

You're a natural at conversation and find it easy to build rapport with people. With strong communication skills and a background in technology sales, you can explain tech ideas simply and share knowledge about Chronicle's products with confidence.

You're focused and persistent, ready to take the necessary steps to research and identify potential leads to build a pipeline of qualified leads for the Account Executives to close.

You’re motivated by meaningful work, an advocate for digital transformation, and passionate about engaging in impactful conversations!

What You'll Do

Your role as a Sales Development Representative at Chronicle is pivotal in connecting us to new opportunities, markets, and clients, and you’ll do this by:

  • Conducting discovery calls and managing email communications to secure demonstration opportunities for Account Executives.
  • Crafting, refining, and enhancing email sequences and sales scripts for efficacy.
  • Assisting the Sales Manager with outbound sales activities and strategies.
  • Managing the sales pipeline, optimising lead progression, and ensuring effective funnel movement.
  • Organising and overseeing our CRM, maintaining regular sales activity reports and forecasts.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to tailor the customer journey according to varying personas.
  • Soliciting and incorporating client feedback to inform and guide product development.
  • Representing the voice of the customer, understanding their needs, and championing their digital transformation.
