Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities:

1. Achieve sales goals based on the business strategy
2. Develop and execute sales and marketing plans.
3. Responsible for the sales performance report.
4. Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
5. Overseeing and directing the performance of the sales team.
6. Attend to customers to address any sales-related questions.
7. Manage meetings, training sessions, and client visits with distributors.
8. Evaluate and approach prospective customers, projects, tenders, or markets to obtain new business opportunities.
9. Conduct competitor analysis and stay up-to-date on market trends.
10. In order to execute the job, coordinate and collaborate with the operations team.
11. Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills

Education & Experience:

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in sales or marketing

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities (recommended in English)
• Proficient in MS Office
• Work independently with a minimum of supervision 
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously 
• A demonstrated ability to lead sales teams and foster a results-oriented culture
• In-depth industry knowledge in marine, oil and gas, shipping, and mining would be preferable as would the capacity to adapt to evolving market trends
