Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales goals based on the business strategy
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans.
- Responsible for the sales performance report.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Overseeing and directing the performance of the sales team.
- Attend to customers to address any sales-related questions.
- Manage meetings, training sessions, and client visits with distributors.
- Evaluate and approach prospective customers, projects, tenders, or markets to obtain new business opportunities.
- Conduct competitor analysis and stay up-to-date on market trends.
- In order to execute the job, coordinate and collaborate with the operations team.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience:
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree in business or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in sales or marketing
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities (recommended in English)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- A demonstrated ability to lead sales teams and foster a results-oriented culture
- In-depth industry knowledge in marine, oil and gas, shipping, and mining would be preferable as would the capacity to adapt to evolving market trends
