Roles
The Sales Officer will provide a key support role in the growth and profitability of PT. Unilever Oleochemical to drive sales with key customers both internally (Unilever SU) and externally (B2B). The candidate will help support the business development relationship for a wide portfolio of products which include fatty acids, glycerin soap noodles.
Responsibility & Authority
- Ensure the all activity conducted by requirement of quality, food safety, feed safety, environment, occupational health and safety.
- Responsible for supporting the business development of Internal Unilever and External B2B Customers to help optimize profit for PT Unilever Oleochemicals. To partner effectively with the customer to drive and manage new sales opportunities to cash generation.
Accountability
- R&D approval: Follow up and send samples while also helping to manage the database tracking to ensure customer receives the samples on time.
- Specification: Ensure that all specification are agreed/signed before commencement of supply.
- Order management / Allocation: Support the data consolidation and follow up for the conversion of allocation to purchase order and management of volume gaps by customer/country as well as ensuring the order delivery schedule meets customer agreement and update customer on shipment status. At last, to also store the offers and contracts in an organized e-folder.
- Financial: Follow up on the tracking of payment on time in full from finance.
- Customer complaints management: Support on the complaint information while also ensuring the customer's satisfaction.
- Business development: Support in the driving of top line sales growth with Unilever and External Customers while also onboard the new customers into system.
- Market intelligence: Market Pricing Database - input bids, offers, supplier market pricing.
- Technical support: Product, handling, packaging database, and provide information to customer.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree of relevant major.
- Proficiency in communication skills especially in English (mandatory for dealing with customers).
- Familiar with operating Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond and deliver the updates in timely manner.
- Customer & consumer-oriented.
