Job Summary: Nippon Paint is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Executive to join its team in Indonesia (Jakarta, Palembang, Lampung, Makassar, Semarang, Bali, Medan) Has to handle the retail paint shop market, selling premium and value for money products. Has to coordinate with distributor and ensure delivery of agreed targets by month. The candidate must possess strong selling skills, a can-do attitude, and have a proven track record of success in retail sales.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales in the paint industry by managing a portfolio of 30+ paint shops, generating a minimum of 250-400 million IDR in sales per month within nine months of joining, (depend on Area)
The candidate will also manage a portfolio of 10 key accounts, delivering 20 million IDR per month within nine months of joining.
Ensure launch of color PU Tinting machines with at least 10+ customers
Ensure sales of new products with 25% of total sales composed of new products
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Achieve sales targets by maintaining and expanding the customer base
Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to the management team
Work with distributors to ensure sell in targets based on the paint shops
Support sales collections as required from paint shops to distributor
Conduct regular store visits to ensure product availability, merchandising, and display standards are met
Provide training to store staff on product knowledge and sales techniques
Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to network and promote Nippon Paint products and services
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Energetic and Ambitious
Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the paint industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a portfolio of key accounts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
