JOB SUMMARY
- Work collectively as a Sales Support Team to optimize commercial activities
- Responsible for customer inquiries, shipping order and sales quotation [SQ]
- Responsible for sales and sales administration, space allocation, lifting report, filling rate, SSC RFI, LISA Allocation, NVR
- Do telemarketing and maintaining account and join sales reviews as requirede.Remain as a backup for sales person
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling daily communications by emails or calls as targeted by respective sales manager.
- Handling daily filing SQ on system
- Contact with customer, develop good relationship with customers for all level
- Back-up for Outside, carry out sales leads research, telephone canvassing
- Provide information about rate and service queries through tele-sales and emails
- Following up customer inquiries [schedule, space allocation, container status, free time D&D]
- Coordinate with relevant parties to solve all customer’s issue
- Handling HOT BOXES request to Cargo Flow team
- Monitor and follow up if any outstanding issue came from ARO/HO
- Prepare statistics of lifting, customer and other commercial aspects for analysis and reports
- Consolidating report on weekly or monthly [lost or new accounts], lifting performance or any issue in the market
- Update vessel profile/ customer relationship management system accurately and completed information in Customer Relationship Management System
- Occasionally attend sales meeting, concall meeting with ARO/HO, or training session to develop skills
- Maintain customer’s relationship by visiting them as requested, phone call a day. Update all activities in NOVA , LISA, LARA etc
- Verify SOA and following up the invoice dispute
- Handle USA sales tool kind and FMC Filing
- Liase with intern department for customer inquiries and requested
- Send booking forecast to Transshipment and Logistics
- Participating fully in training session, meetings, skill building and professional development classes
- Any other assignment as and when assigned by the direct superior including assisting Sales Support whenever required
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Level of Qualification:
- Minimum 1 years working experience in shipping/forwarding industry
- Bachelor’s degree University graduated Preferably in Logistics/Transportation, Economics/Business, Marketing, or equivalent, qualified sales achievement
Professional Skills:
- English fluency
- Excellent presentation
- Customer Network coverage in any industry
- Knowledge shipping / forwarding industry
