About the Role
If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly-analytical team who enjoys designing data-based strategies, look no further. As our Satellite Operations Supervisor, you'll get to explore various tasks within the Operations, Sales, and Marketing fields. Along with the District team, you'll oversee the entire operational driver-partner growth spectrum at the satellite level, which includes balancing supply and demand (BCR), utilizations, acquisitions, engagements, resolving field issues, and managing on-going campaigns. Working closely with the Regional Strategy team, you'll also get to localize the HQ strategy for the area. Your efforts will help ensure that our driver-partners are given the experience and opportunities they deserve.


What You Will Do

  • Handle all the driver community, marketing, and driver care responsibilities on satellite level; including but not limited to: channel walk-ins, service times management, and ensure both driver-partners and customer satisfaction
  • Resolve driver-partners issues, and ensure this problem-solving process adheres to agreed-upon processes and standard operational procedures
  • Develop the company's marketing strategy for the region, ensuring it's in line with the larger company objectives
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing, sales, and operations objectives
  • Coordinate with District Operations Manager as well as District Head for day-to-day escalated issues around driver service and customer service.

What You Will Need

  • A Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 3 years of work experience in Operations field
  • A genuine passion for community development (relevant experience in this field is preferred)
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series) with the ability to track relevant community metrics
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills in order to communicate effectively with people and stakeholders of various backgrounds, as well as resolve people-related issues
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in order to keep accurate and timely records of all related documents
About the Team
Our Indonesia Region team, part of the Operations & Sales group, is a big family of over a hundred GoTroops spread out across Indonesia. Working alongside the Product team, we are predominantly concerned with all things to do with our driver-partners - their experiences using our services, their life cycle, their engagement with the company, and growing our driver partner family in the district, just to name a few things. We also oversee the supply within Gojek, including creating detailed business analyses, outlining problems, and developing solutions for our driver-partners.
One of the biggest challenges our team has had to face has undoubtedly been maintaining a high level of engagement with our driver-partners amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure our driver-partner ties remain strong with the company, we introduced online meet-ups and forums with our driver-partners where they can openly discuss their questions, concerns, and experiences directly with our team.
We genuinely enjoy what we do, since we get to see the impact of our work reflected in our driver-partners' everyday lives on the field. We're a fun group made up of avid readers, amateur gamers, Netflix watchers, K-pop listeners, and (guilty) reality show watchers. We're also big foodies, since we're spoiled for choice here in Indonesia (food recommendations are always welcome!).
