Qualifications & experience
- More than 5 years experience in hybrid Seed Production of tomato, hot pepper & brinjal is advantage.
- Bachelor Degree or Masters in Agriculture or equivalent specialization
- Proficiency in English is necessary
- Should be able to travel as and when required
Tasks & responsibilities
- Overall responsibility to ensure the functional compliance to all Local and Company's Regulatory requirements in Indonesia
- Apply and monitor company standards: i.e., isolation, pest control, seed purity, germination, disease, pollination and weed control in order to assure seed quality standards in Stock and Sample Seed Production.
- Record information such as seed producibility data, field production data, peculiar line characteristics, farm management practices
- Supervise rogueing crews and maintain log of off types removed for proper history of inbred lines and assist in smooth functioning of pollen production project as well as in adapting new technology.
- Measure fields and prepare production formats after nursery sowing or transplanting in order to ensure accurate plant counts and field allocation plans.
- Prepare financial & operational reports for overall project budget requirement. Communicate the concerns, ideas, suggestions to the Reporting Manager in order to continually improve performance of the organization
