Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a robust and scalable Core Banking system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and seamless integration with other financial systems
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Core Banking team
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into an effective implementation
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Core Banking systems

Qualifications

• Experience working with at least one core banking system (e.g. AS400, T24, etc) and familiarity with its architecture, functionality, and limitations
• Deep expertise in the saving, loan, and deposit modules within a core banking system and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Proficiency in executing End of Day, End of Month, and End of Year processes in a core banking environment and ensuring data accuracy and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous work experience in a similar role or in a financial institution
• Strong familiarity in the implementation of sharia-compliant banking products
