About the role
In this role, you will:
- Develop, manage, communicate, implement, maintain, audit, and review the site Environmental Management Plan consistently to meet ISO14001 and Thiess Governance System (TGS) requirements
- Determine the work activities and priorities of the site environmental team
- Maintain and analyze the site environmental data via Power BI
- Ensure the site environmental reports are delivered in timely manner
- Manage more than one site as set up by the Superintendent Environmental with priority to support coal mining activities
- Work to deadlines, fast paced and mobile
- Manage, implement, maintain, audit and review on a regular basis the procedure for site environmental management
- Ensure advice on environmental regulation and requirements are provided in time and accurately to ensure quality decisions can be made by using accurate knowledge and practices
- Develop Environmental Management System based on AMDAL, RKL and RPL or UKL and UPL for the site that conforms to the requirements of ISO 14001, contractual obligation and TGS/PGS
About you
- Degree in Environmental Engineering or other suitable discipline
- Minimum 5 years as Engineer Environmental or 2 years as Senior Engineer Environmental
- Environmental Management System ISO 14001
- Rehabilitation or Reclamation in Mining sector
- Hydrocarbon, Waste and Hazardous Substances Management
- ESG & Sustainability Standard
- Environmental Monitoring
- Water Supply Management
- Wastewater Management (Mining, Industry, Domestic)
