We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance and Accounting Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and management. As a key member of our finance team, the Senior Finance and Accounting Staff will play a critical role in driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the organization's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting principles, and internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, optimize efficiency, and enhance internal controls.
- Support external audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with financial software and systems, including ERP systems and spreadsheet applications, especially for Oracle Netsuite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Preferably candidate who has background in construction and hospitality.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical conduct.
- A thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards is essential. This includes knowledge of tax laws, financial reporting regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and industry-specific regulations.
