Purpose of the Role:
To support cost optimization, cost efficiency, budgeting and forecasting process, reporting and to provide department cost performance, conduct month-end closing process and provide comprehensive analysis of any financial and cost impact and provide required information to Finance and Control Department and stakeholders.
Accountabilities:
- Support the budgeting process and forecasting process and ensure the budget and forecast data are analyzed and compiled correctly and accurately.
- Provide assistance and support to department in budgeting and forecasting process; as well as maintaining and controlling its budget and cost performance.
- Assist and advice Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis in improving the department cost performance by analyzing results, monitoring activities, identifying opportunities of improvement and cost efficiencies.
- Provide regular department cost performance to each area responsibility and to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Improve financial performance by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommend actions to management and recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data/information and making comparative analyses.
- Responsible for month-end closing process to be carried timely and properly.
- Ensure that key control required for SoX and audit compliance are conducted; to provide information required for auditing process.
- Support required financial evaluation for capital planning.
- Support Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis in providing any information to Finance and Control department and all stakeholders ad-hoc request.
Technical Specialization
- Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately.
- Excellent numeracy skills combined with a comprehensive analytical skill and problem solving.
- Good knowledge of business and production processes, and ability to identify waste and opportunities for improving efficiency and performance across the organization.
- Good working knowledge of accounting information, while keeping up to date with changing financial rules and regulations.
- Excellent data analysis, spreadsheet, and modelling skills.
- Advanced presentation skill.
- proficient english skill both verbal and written.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Have strong operations background is preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years working experience
