Senior Furniture Drafter

Responsibilities :

• Work with architects and designer to gather products and structural requirements and designs for generate technical drawing
• Prepare rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team
• Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionalit
• Ensure final technical drawing comply with regulations and quality standards
• Create technical drawing with computer-aided design softwarecheck on site for existing dimention

Requirements :

• Technical Drawing: Proficiency in technical drawing skills is crucial for Furniture Drafters. This includes the ability to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings, understand and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and use drafting tools and equipment.
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software: Strong skills in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SketchUp, are essential for Furniture Drafters.
• Furniture Design Knowledge: A good understanding of furniture design principles, materials, and construction methods is important for Furniture Drafters. This includes knowledge of different furniture styles, ergonomic considerations, and industry trends.
• Attention to Detail: Furniture drafters must have a keen eye for detail to accurately represent furniture components, dimensions, and joinery techniques in their drawings. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure that the final product meets design specifications.
• Experience 2+ in interior drafting
