About Our Client

Approximately 40% of energy used globally is wasted through inefficiencies.  Our client has been established to help their clients identify these inefficiencies and then deploy solutions to eliminate them.  Established in Bali in 2020, works predominantly with 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts, as well as iconic beach clubs, and has already helped their clients save over 3,500,000 kWh in power consumption whilst not compromising on their operations.

Job Overview
Our client are in search of an experienced Senior HVAC Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 to10 years of practical experience in optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that HVAC systems operate at peak efficiency, delivering cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in diagnosing inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and providing exceptional service to our clients. The position will be based in Bali.

Job Description

1. Efficiency Analysis:
   • Conduct comprehensive assessments of HVAC systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
   • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to measure system performance and energy consumption.
   • Develop, cost and implement strategies to enhance overall system efficiency.
2. Optimization and Upgrades:
   • Recommend and implement system upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency, within agreed budgets
   • Collaborate with clients to discuss and prioritize energy-saving solutions.
   • Stay current with industry advancements to integrate innovative technologies for enhanced system performance.
3. Preventive Maintenance:
   • Design and implement preventive maintenance plans to proactively address potential efficiency issues.
   • Educate clients on the importance of regular maintenance for prolonged system efficiency and reduced operating costs.
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Ensure that all efficiency improvements comply with industry standards and regulations.
   • Conduct thorough quality checks to validate the success of implemented optimizations.
5. Client Education:
   • Communicate effectively with clients, explaining the impact of efficiency improvements on energy consumption and costs.
   • Provide guidance on best practices for maximizing HVAC system efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in optimizing HVAC system efficiency.
• Relevant certification or licensure in HVAC systems.
• Profound knowledge of HVAC systems, energy-efficient technologies, and controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, including the abiliity to communicate in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
