Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible to assist at DSC (Daily Schedule Control).
- Involve in controlling cost and budget including to make sure correct allocation of cost centre.
- Coordinate with material group including warehouse and purchasing to ensure material/parts requirement available.
- Responsible for parts and material storage at power plant to ensure proper and effective storage.
- Responsible for work order backlog management to ensure clean and effective work order backlog.
- Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish maintenance activities.
- Prepare and issue shutdown work schedules.
- Prepare detailed critical path plans and job chart, including equipment and materials list for major jobs such as planned shutdowns.
- Issues and follows up on preventative maintenance inspections and procedures.
- Ensure that necessary work history and documentation are properly organized and input into the computer history files.
- Coordinate schedule regularly meetings with maintenance and operations representatives.
- Prepare weekly, monthly summary and exception reports.
- Responsible for long-term plans and shutdowns/outages including parts (turnaround management).
- Assist in the preparation of 1-year and 5-year ahead operations budget.
- Optimize the cost of maintaining power assets by implementing good planning practices.
- Propose new procedure to ensure effective and efficient Power Plant.
- Actively encourage and support team members to participate in decision-making processes and to assume responsibility and exercise initiative.
- Manage and develop staff including setting objectives, performance management, training & coaching, succession plan, and handling industrial issues.
- Build strong expertise in own field, clearly understand own and team objectives/goal, and deliver consistent high performance.
- Act as Supervisor Planning as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Senior Technical School or equivalent of related field with 6 years’ related experiences.
- Computer literacy with all Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook software.
- Advanced knowledge of work planning, scheduling for day-to-day operations and plant outages/overhauls.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) sufficient to undertake this role.
- General knowledge of all areas of industrial plant maintenance.
- Knowledge of the basic plant layout, equipment, and systems of a large industrial project
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
- Strong computer skills and be competent in all Microsoft Office software programs, as well as project-specific software.
- Strong leadership and a people-oriented outlook.
- Self starter; good analytical; conflict resolution.
