At the Engineering Platform, Gojek we are looking for passionate engineers responsible for bringing DevOps knowledge and Software Engineering skill set into the complex, dynamic, and exciting cloud finance area. The selected candidate will be an expert in all aspects of FinOps Engineering practices starting from providing visibility to teams on what they are spending on and why; identifying, measuring and executing efficient cloud optimization; defining and executing architectures and processes which enable the goals of technology, finance, and business to be achieved. You will also be developing services, tools and platforms that enable FinOps practices. This is a highly rewarding role where you will be able to see an immediate impact to your contributions
About the team
We are the heart of Gojek, the group that owns, improves, and manages Gojek's engineering productivity, reliability, and observability across the board. Team is primarily responsible for being a central FinOps best-practices group. Team works on nurturing FinOps culture which is suitable for our needs using cutting edge technologies. Also, ensuring each product team can access the near-real time data to influence their spend and help them make better decisions that ultimately results in efficient cloud cost without sacrificing performance and quality of services.
You get to work with an insanely driven and proud team of engineers who deliver fundamental functionality to enable multiple product groups at gojek dealing with scenarios at a really interesting combination of scale and complexity. Gojek has grown exponentially in the past couple of years, resulting in explosive growth of cloud usage and infrastructure. Our FinOps team is focussed with the task of heavy lifting and supporting the Engineering Platform in terms of cloud spend visibility, optimization, and operation.
