Some of your duties will include:
- Support in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems for social impact programs.
- Develop and implement monitoring plans for social impact programs, including the development of indicators, data collection tools, and data management systems.
- Collect and analyze data from social impact programs, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Prepare reports on program performance, including progress reports, annual reports, and impact assessments.
- Work with program teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance program effectiveness.
- Support in providing training and technical assistance to program teams on monitoring and evaluation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that monitoring and evaluation systems are aligned with program objectives and meet donor requirements.
- Participate in the development of proposals and grant applications, providing technical input on monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in monitoring and evaluation, and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
- Provide recognition and feedback for workplace achievement in a timely and appropriate manner.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, statistics, or a related field.
- Hold an operational inspector certificate or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the social impact sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including program teams, donors, and implementing partners.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data collection, management, and analysis.
- Proficiency in relevant software and databases, including Microsoft Office, SPSS, and other data analysis tools
