Job Description
We are looking for a Web Developer with strong back-end (PHP) and front-end skills (CSS, JQuery) to work on development across our web applications. You will be required to:
- Resolve complex performance problems (code and database related)
- Contribute to all phases of the development life-cycle
- Collaborate with the team, guiding them in defining technical architecture - Good written English skills are required
- Write unit tests & participate in Code analysis
Your Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a developer role - Teamwork within an agile environment is highly favourable
- 3-5+ years of experience in PHP development with a framework like Laravel or a C-based programming language
- 2-3+ years of experience in frontend development working with Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, jQuery
- Git expert
- Demonstrable experience in REST API development
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Working in a Linux environment
- Working with AWS products
- Knowledge of MySQL database, web servers (Apache, Nginx, Lighttpd)
- Working with software design patterns
- Advanced English skills (written)
- JavaScript framework experience is a plus
- The ability to learn new technologies
